Presidential table attending the event
On June 11 2009, the Pacte Industrial called its XIV General
Council Meeting at the Cúbic building in Viladecans.
Mr. Dídac Pestaña,
President of the General Council, Mr. Carles Ruiz, President of the Executive Committee and the four chairmen of the Commissions informed
of the most relevant activities carried out by the Pacte Industrial.
In addition, the meeting appointed the following vice-presidents to the General
Council:
- Mr. Juan José Casado, representing the trade unions
- Mr. Jordi Roig, representing
business associations
- Mr. Teo Romero, representing the municipal corporations

The
General Council was informed of the formal adhesion of Generalitat de Catalunya Government to the
Pacte Industrial de la Regió Metropolitana de Barcelona in accordance with the resolution of the Government dated 16 December 2008. Mr. Andreu Morillas, Generalitat de Catalunya’s Secretary of Economy, said a few words to those attending the meeting.

It was ratified the adhesion of Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) as a collaborative entity.
Mr. Antón Costas, Professor of Economic Policy at Barcelona University, closed the meeting with a talk entitled "Thoughts on the productive model and industrial policy". |
