Carles Ruiz, Mayor of Viladecans is the new chairman of the Pacte Industrial Executive Committee

 
On December 10, the General Council of the Pacte Industrial held its 12th meeting in the Cúbic Building, in Viladecans.

During the extraordinary meeting, the modification of the Statutes of the Association was unanimously approved.

Mrs. Maravillas Rojo took her leave by presenting the "Execution report of the 2004-2007 Plan", and made special reference to the spirit of consensus as the most important aspect of the Pacte.

  Mr. Carles Ruiz Novella, Mayor of Viladecans, was then appointed Chairman of the Pacte Industrial Executive Committee.

The three Vice-Chairman positions of the Pacte Industrial were then renewed: Mr. Simon Rosado -representing the trade unions -, Mrs.Rosa Fiol- representing the employer's associations- and Mr. Teodoro Romero -representing the municipal corporations-.

During the meeting, several speakers representing local, social and employer agents intervened to discuss the 2008-2011 Work Plan; these were Teodoro Romero, representing the Deputation of Barcelona, Simon Rosado, representing CCOO, Juan José Casado, representing UGT, Rosa Fiol, representing the Employers' Association of Hospitalet and Baix Llobregat (AEBALL), and Jordi Roig, representing PIMEC.

The Meeting was closed by Mr. Andreu Morillas, Secretary of the Department of Economy of Generalitat de Catalunya.
